The Monmouth University Urban Coast Institute’s (UCI) will host its annual Future of the Ocean Symposium at its West Long Branch, NJ, campus on Thursday, Oct. 9. The theme of this year’s symposium will be “Exploring the Wine-Dark Sea – U.S. Ocean Science and Technology: Keys to Prosperity and Security.”

The Future of the Ocean Symposium is free and open to members of the public. It will be directly followed by its 2025 Champion of the Ocean Awards Luncheon.
